Trick-or-treaters visit local college
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Western Technical College hosted its 6th annual residence hall trick-or-treat this Hallows Eve.
Nearly 100 children dressed up to roam the haunted halls of the building.
With snow flurries in the forecast for Halloween, this event offers a safe and warm alternative for trick-or-treaters.
And the kids aren’t the only ones having a good time.
“The residents love it too. It’s so fun to see their faces light up when little kiddos come to their door and say trick-or-treat, it kind of makes them feel like they’re the adults giving out candy for the first time,” Student Life coordinator, Leah Durnin Hoover said.
Western provided over 300,000 pieces of candy, as well as non-candy alternatives.
