Trempealeau woman injured in two-vehicle crash

TOWN OF CALEDONIA, Wis. (WKBT) — A 22-year-old Trempealeau, Wis., woman was injured Monday when another vehicle rear-ended hers, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office.
Shyanne Herman was northbound in a Ford Fusion at about 8:15 a.m., stopped while waiting to make a left turn from State Hwy. 35 in Caledonia to McDonah Lane when a northbound Ford F750 driven by Lauren Jaskowski, 22, of Eleva, Wis., hit the Fusion, deputies said.
Gundersen Tri-State Hospital took Herman to a hospital with suspected minor injuries. Jaskowski was not injured but was cited for inattentive driving.
Assisting the sheriff’s office in the investigation were the Trempealeau Police Department, Trempealeau Fire Department, Galesville Fire Department and Tri-State Ambulance.
