Trempealeau County Sheriff’s deputy rescues injured owl
TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) — A Trempealeau County Sheriff’s deputy rescued an injured owl on the roadway on Monday.
The Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page that the Trempealeau County Dispatch received a call about an injured owl and Deputy Johnson and his trainee Deputy Cruz responded.
Deputy Johnson said he was able to capture the owl and get it to a warden who took it to the raptor center for treatment.
“What a neat animal! Glad we were able to save it,” Deputy Johnson said.
