Trempealeau County receives grant to boost tourism
TREMPEALEAU COUNTY, Wis. (WKBT) – A tourism relief grant is helping Trempealeau County bring in more visitors.
The county recently launched its “Welcome to Trempealeau County” Grant Funded Marketing Campaign.
It received $5,823 from the TRAVEL Stimulus Grants to boost tourism in the area.
The campaign is geared toward promoting outdoor recreation that allows for social distancing – creating a safe and healthy environment for visitors and residents.
“What this grant specifically will do, how it will help Trempealeau County, it will get more people aware of all the great things we have to do here and hopefully it will drive more people to Trempealeau County but really into the region,” said Rob Grover, Trempealeau Co. Economic Development & Tourism Coordinator.
The grant is being used for vacation sweepstakes, e-news design and implementation, a digital partnership with River Travel Magazine, social campaign inclusion, winter outdoor recreation imagery, and digital advertising.
