Train derails in Marquette, Iowa
MARQUETTE, Iowa (WKBT) — A train derailed three sand cars in Marquette, Iowa Thursday afternoon.
According to a Canadian Pacific representative, there were no injuries or hazardous materials involved.
CP dispatched teams to the site and began removing the derailed equipment.
Two crossings are blocked as a result of the incident and crews continue to work on clearing the crossings.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
