No injuries after house fire in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- Both northbound lanes of Rose St. have reopened after crews battled a house fire Monday afternoon.
Traffic was rerouted for a time for the fire at 213 Rose St.
The call came in just after 3:00 p.m.
La Crosse Fire Department officials confirm that no one was in the home at the time of the fire and there are no injuries.
They say the home has moderate fire and heavy smoke damage.
The cause is under investigation.
One northbound lane of Rose St. near the 200 block is closed off as La Crosse firefighters battle a house fire.
This is the area just north of Monitor Street.
A News 8 Now crew on scene says smoke was coming through the front door of the home at 213 Rose St.
Seven trucks from the La Crosse Fire Department are on scene.
