Toys for Tots drive continues in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — You have the chance to make the holidays bright for area kids.
The La Crosse Jaycees annual Toys for Tots drive is underway in La Crosse.
Donations of new toys are needed for the drive.
Last year, more than 900 kids received presents and this year the hope is to get presents to more than 1,000 kids this year.
News 8 is one of the many donation sites throughout the area.
And we have already had plenty of toys delivered as you can see on our set.
If you’re shopping, some gifts are in high demand this year.
“Boys toys, Nerf guns are always a big thing, Barbies for the girls, kids movies, PG rating and under and just anything else you can think of that a child would need,” said La Crosse Jaycees Toys for Tots media director Jason Jones.
You have a big chance to help the Toys for Tots drive with a Stuff The Truck event on Saturday.
The event happens in front of the La Crosse Center from 8 in the morning until 6.
Toy donations will be accepted through December 6th.
