Toys for Tots collect donations outside La Crosse Center

Toys For Tots Drive

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – It’s the season of giving and many are taking part at Saturday’s Toys for Tots drive.

This year, Toys for Tots accepted new, unwrapped toys for kids 12 and under at the La Crosse Center today.

The group also accepted monetary donations from those who haven’t been able to pick up a toy in stores yet.

This year, Toys for Tots is helping more than 350 families.

For organizers like Lyndsey Langer, it’s important to make the season bright for area kids.

“Families have so much going on as it is, and then with Covid and all the things going on that’s negative in the world right now, I think giving that little bit of positivity back to a child and a family in general, it just means so much,” said Langer.

Saturday is the final day for families to register to receive toys.

Toys for Tots barrels around town will be collected on December 3rd.

Toys will be distributed to families on December 11th.
