Town to discuss road safety following crash that killed couple on honeymoon
ROLLINSFORD, N.H. (AP) — The town of Rollinsford, New Hampshire, is holding a meeting next week addressing safety concerns on Route 4, where a Minnesota woman on her honeymoon was killed in a collision.
Selectman Patrick Carroll said the board will welcome suggestions at the meeting planned Monday at 7 p.m. He told Foster’s Daily Democrat that following the meeting, he would ask the Highway Safety Committee to discuss the matter further.
The July 20 crash killed 34-year-old Leah Fonda of St. Paul, Minn., seriously injured her husband.
The driver of the other vehicle, Matthew Tsopas of Somersworth, was charged with negligent homicide and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
