Town of Campbell police marking K-9 Tasja’s 10th birthday with plushies

TOWN OF CAMPBELL, Wis. (WKBT) – You can own your very own Campbell police K-9 … sort of.

The department is marking their K-9 Tasja’s 10th birthday with plushie versions of the furriest member of the department.

Campbell’s Police Chief Drew Gavrilos says she’s been a valuable asset to the department and the community.

“We love her because she hangs out, she’s kind of our office pet during the day, but those dogs are pretty amazing when it’s time to go to work, you just flip a switch and they’re ready to go,” said Chief Gavrilos.

All proceeds from the sales will be used to support the Campbell Police Department’s K-9 program.

Chief Gavrilos says Tasja is nearing retirement age, and the department is hoping to continue the K-9 program with the help of the fundraiser.
