Tomah’s Connor Prielipp drafted by Red Sox, likely to honor commitment to Alabama
The Boston Red Sox drafted Tomah southpaw pitcher Connor Prielipp in the 37th round of the MLB Draft Wednesday, but Prielipp is very unlikely to break his commitment to Alabama baseball.
After Tomah’s sectional final loss Tuesday, News 8 Sports asked the Gatorade Player of the Year about his mindset concerning his future. Prielipp said he was not thinking about potentially being drafted, and that he was excited to compete in the “best conference in college baseball” at Alabama this upcoming season.
