Tomah Police puts out request for isolation gown donations
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT)- The Tomah Police Department put out a request Friday for donations of isolation gowns used during the department’s calls-for-service.
Lieutenant Eric Pedersen said in a Facebook post that the department currently has enough gowns for 3 to 4 calls. The shortage is critical. The department shared its gratitude for the community’s support in donating disinfecting wipes, gloves, hand sanitizer, some masks, and other cleaning supplies that they use each day. Those items are still needed, but the disposable isolation gowns are the most important PPE needed at this time.
“We can’t thank you enough for the support. We will all get through this together, as a community….from at least six feet apart,” Lt. Pedersen said.
