Tomah BGC could help students with virtual learning

TOMAH, Wis (WKBT) – The Boys and Girls Club of West-Central Wisconsin is preparing to support kids’ needs in the changing learning environment.
With many school districts changing their learning formats, the organization is preparing to help work with the community.
The Reedsburg Club recently introduced “Club Hub” which provides families an option for children to receive supervision, virtual learning support, and activities throughout the traditional school day hours.
“We recognize the immense need for additional support for families and students during these traditional school hours. We hope to offer a safe, positive learning environment for families to utilize,” said Karen DeSanto, Executive Director, in a statement.
The Tomah Club will also consider using the “Club Hub” model at their site if the school district moves to a virtual or a hybrid learning model.
