Tomah baseball using tough schedule to improve

Tomah baseball is looking to take the next steps this season and compete in the MVC with the help of 9 returning. seniors.

Tomah finished last year with a sub .500 record but is returning many key pieces and are hoping to build off of last year’s season.

The Timberwolves are just 2 and 2 so far this season and have had more games than outside practices, but the players know that if they can overcome the harsh weather, the tough MVC schedule will prepare them for the end of the season.

“It challenges us it really does, but when it comes down to it, it really makes us more prepared for like tougher playing in the future,” senior outfielder Charlie Joyce said. “You know it’s a lot more routine to see tough pitching or different playing styles because we’ve already been facing that all year. ”

Tomah will continue conference play on Monday when they take on Logan.
