Tickets go on sale for annual La Crosse area day at Miller Park
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — After keeping it a secret for about six months, a local man was excited to reveal that he will throw the first pitch during the annual La Crosse Area Day at Miller Park.
During the ‘First Pitch’ kickoff party in La Crosse Thursday, organizers announced that Dale Anderson will be out on the mound on June 27. The Milwaukee Brewers will face off against the Kansas Royals.
Anderson said it’s pretty special to be representing the area for the event.
At the kickoff party, fans had the chance to win VIP tickets, memorabilia and autographed items from Hall of Fame players. They were also able to purchase tickets for the annual event at a discounted rate.
This year, people can hop on a special bus from the La Crosse area to Milwaukee. Tickets for adults cost $90, while kids 12 and under cost $50, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
The cost includes a tailgate party, beverages, a ticket to the game and two raffles. Family bus tickets must be purchased in person at Explore La Crosse in Riverside Park, La Crosse, WI or by calling 608-782-2366
