Three arrested in Juneau County for drug bust
MAUSTON, Wis. (WKBT) – Three people have been arrested and transported to the Juneau County Jail for a drug bust that happened this past Wednesday, April 7, Sheriff Brent Oleson says.
At about 3:25 p.m., Juneau County authorities conducted a traffic stop on a car with no front license plate on Highway 21 in the town of Cutler.
The county’s K-9, Timo, warned deputies of some illicit drugs in the car. Authorities eventually discovered many forms of illegal drugs.
The driver, 55-year-old Lisa Jameson, as well as two passengers, 55-year-old Richard Jones and 30-year-old Jeffrey Hatfield, were all arrested and taken to the Juneau County Jail.
A warrant was also placed on the residences of all three individuals involved by the Juneau County Drug Task Force. Authorities found illegal drugs used in drug trafficking, and more than $45,000 in cash.
The incident is under investigation by the Juneau County Drug Task Force and the State of Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
