Thousands fill the Minnesota Capitol grounds for “Sit to Breathe” demonstration
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WKBT) – A peaceful “Sit to Breathe” demonstration was held at the Minnesota State Capitol on Tuesday.
Thousands of protesters made themselves visible on the steps of government buildings.
Organizers of the event say it’s a tribute to sit-ins that took place in the 1960s and throughout the Civil Rights Movement.
