Last night’s snow moved out and the cold moved in! Temperatures this morning were in the single digits below zero, and will only warm into the single digits above zero this afternoon. Wind chills will be in the teens and 20s below zero this afternoon.

Sunny, but cold this afternoon.

Clear and cold tonight. Overnight lows will drop into the teens below zero.

Mostly sunny and cold again for Friday, but afternoon highs will be a few degrees warmer than today. Expect highs in the upper single digits to low teens for Valentine’s Day.

Clouds increase Friday night and Saturday ahead of a cold front. Winds will also shift out of the south bringing warmer air into the Upper Midwest. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 30s with a chance of snow showers.

Partly sunny and seasonable cool on Sunday with highs in the upper 20s.

A slightly more potent storm moves our way for the start of the new work and school week. We’ll see a chance of rain/snow on Monday with highs in the low to mid 30s. Temperatures will then fall into the 20s for highs Tuesday and Wednesday.

Have a great day and stay warm! -Michelle Poedel
