Thirteen cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Winona County

WINONA, MN (WKBT)–13 individuals living in Winona County tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Minnesota Department of Health’s website.

Two of those individuals have died from COVID-19.

One of the deaths in the county had previously tested negative for the virus, but it was determined after death that the person had died from COVID-19.

Winona County urges the public to not assume there are only 13 cases in the county, and to not assume that all the cases are interconnected.

They also urge the public to practice social distancing.
