Third Street Aid Station returns to La Crosse’s Oktoberfest for 11th year
Open Friday, Saturday nights
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Festers in need will be able to find help along third street during the Oktoberfest celebrations.
La Crosse law enforcement, healthcare providers, and other agencies will host the third street aid station again this year in the Subway parking lot in downtown La Crosse. The Aid Station will help direct festers while providing medical and policing assistance, along with phone chargers and a lost and found
A representative from tri- state ambulance and the city’s fire and police departments will be available at the station.
“The purpose of the aid station is to have one central place for all public safety agencies to be able to gather to coordinate their activities, as well as one place for the public to go if they have questions, if they have concerns, or if they have any problems,” said Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance Operations Supervisor of Logistics and Safety Eric Ellis.
Festers can find the aid station near the intersection of Third and Pearl streets.
The station will be open from 7 p.m. through 3 a.m. both Friday and Saturday nights.
