Theater group’s performance proves the show must go on in Sparta

Showings are scheduled for the next two weekends

SPARTA, Wis (WKBT) – If you’re still in need of some summer entertainment, the Sparta Area Theatre & Arts Guild might be able to help. The group is performing the play called ‘Don’t Talk To The Actors’ at the Sparta Eagles Club starting next week.

The show was originally supposed to run in May, however, that was postponed due to the coronavirus.

Showings are scheduled for the next two weekends. The times include:

Eagles Club Schedule (Highway 21 East)
Friday, 8/7 Evening Show at 730
Saturday, 8/8 Evening Show at 7:30
Sunday, 8/9 Matinee at Show at 2:00

Saturday, 8/15 “NO SHOW” (St. Pat’s Church Summerfest)
Sunday, 8/16 Matinee Show at 2:00

General admission is $10, $8 for military personnel, seniors and eagles club members, and $5 for students and Sparta Area Theatre and Arts Guild members.

Temperatures will be taken at the door. If you have your own mask, you are asked to bring it. Otherwise, the group will have masks for those that need one.
