Temperatures Could Break Records Once Again Today -Isabella Hulsizer
Record breaking heat has it’s grip on the Coulee Region, and it seems as though there isn’t an end in sight. Once again today temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-upper 90s. Our forecasted high for La Crosse is 97°F. The record high of 96°F was set back in 2017. With sunny skies, and southerly winds we could very well break the record.
Along with the high temperatures, once again there are chances for isolated showers or thunderstorms today. The chances are still slim, only about 20%, but they’re completely possible. They would pop-up in the mid afternoon to evening hours if they do develop.
