‘Technology Tomorrow, Today’ event held at UW-La Crosse
Event showcases modern advances in everyday technology
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — It was a glance into the future of technology Friday at UW-La Crosse.
Information technology services on campus held “Technology Tomorrow, Today”.
The event showcased some of the newest cutting edge technology from computer software to 3D printing.
“We are all just trying to keep up with the times especially technology wise. The program I work in here on campus, we’re always trying to find new ways to keep up with times, to keep up with students who are getting smart phones, different tablets and laptops and something like this is a really great way to figure out what else is out there, what are we missing out on,” said UW-La Crosse Graduate Student Chelsea Ophime.
Companies like Apple, Intel, and Dell were just some of the many vendors at Friday’s event.
