Tuesday saw record-setting voter participation

Wisconsin's GAB said just over 54 percent of Wisconsin voters went to the polls Tuesday, breaking the previous record by almost 2 percent. On the Western side of the state however, the percentage is even higher.

About 54 percent of Wisconsin's voting-age population cast ballots in the midterm election, the highest turnout in at least 60 years for a non-presidential year but below what was predicted.
