Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson talks tariff effects on farmers, manufacturers

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson talked about the Trump administration's tariff trade war in the coulee region Friday. While at the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge, the republican senator said the administration appropriately cited China as abusing the world trading system.

Tariffs could be costly to Midwestern farmers, consumers

Talks of more tariffs on U.S.-made goods, this time by Mexico, could affect both farmers and consumers. Tariffs are expected to rise 15 to 25 percent for goods exported to Mexico, such as cheese and pork from Wisconsin and apples from Minnesota.
