Minneapolis officer relieved of duty after firing at car

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A Minneapolis police officer has been relieved of duty pending an internal investigation after he allegedly fired a shot at a car filled with six people last month.Police union president Lt. Bob Kroll tells the Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/2hnaGtK ) that Efrem Hamilton was relieved of duty Wednesday. He had previously been on paid administrative leave.
