Szymanski hat trick leads Logan soccer to regional win

Logan boys soccer unleashed 10 goals in a rout of Black River Falls in Tuesday’s WIAA soccer regional match.

The Tigers scored first in the second minute courtesy of Avalon Falcon, but the Rangers equalized just a couple minutes later via sophomore Eston Eberlein. The Rangers built a 3-1 halftime lead and then poured it on in the second half.

Logan sophomore Solomon Szymanski scored two first half goals and finished off the hat trick in the 50th minute. Quade Haverland added two goals for Logan.

The Rangers next battle No. 2 seed Mount Horeb Thursday night.
