Swearing in ceremony held for new, promoted members of La Crosse Police Department
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse has some new police officers joining the force.
A swearing in ceremony was held Friday morning in the council chambers.
New La Crosse Police staff members were joined by their families members and community members, including Chief Kudron.
Two new officers, along with a newly promoted Captain was recognized during the event.
One new officer says the appeal of the area helped to make the choice easy.
“I love it, I mean that’s why I chose this department, I got in here, I went to UWL, I love La Crosse. I just, I’m ready to serve my community the best way that I can,” said La Crosse Police Office Noah Grimm.
The newest officers join about 100 others in the La Crosse Police Department.
