Survey: Wisconsin residents excited about Christmas movies
Residents apparently have interest in Bill Murray's movie 'Scrooged'
MADISON, Wis. — A new survey by a national real estate search site says Wisconsin residents are more excited about seeing Christmas movies than most of the rest of the nation.
The survey by Estately said Wisconsin is tied for seventh in the percentage of Facebook users who express interest in one or more of the 10 most popular Christmas movies.
The movies include “Elf,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Miracle on 34 th Street.”
However, further research shows that “Scrooged” was the most Googled Christmas movie in the state of Wisconsin.
Most of the interest in Christmas movies came from residents in the Midwest and Northeast.
The least enthused state about Christmas movies: Hawaii.
