‘Suited for Success’ prepares graduates for professional interviews

Western Technical College offers donated suits to students

Students at Western Technical College in La Crosse are getting some help entering the job market.

It’s through a program called Suited for Success put on by business students at the college.

Students got to pick through donated dress clothes on Monday on campus. The goal is to give them more of a professional look during job interviews after graduation.

The event not only has them looking good but also has them feeling confident about talking to future employers.

“We need to teach people how to write a cover letter how to write a resume how to teach them how to do interview tips and skills and then get them to clothing so they come in looking professional we don’t when them coming in unprepared, we want them prepared on all aspects,” said Suited for Success Coordinator Casie Fry.

The school will be holding another distribution event Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. on campus at the Lunda Center.
