Students showcase talents at annual Tomah rodeo competition
Family and friends filled the Monroe county fairgrounds to watch students compete in classic rodeo events
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) – The ninth annual Tomah High School and Junior High Rodeo took place Sunday. Family and friends filled the Monroe County Fairgrounds to watch students compete in classic rodeo events.
Events included team roping, pole bending, barrel racing, and bull riding. Organizers said 5th to 12th graders from all over the state made about 800 individual runs in the arena over the weekend. Each competitor earned points to make it to the state competition.
