2 students face terror threat charges over ‘concerning Snapchat message’ at Logan High School
The pair were referred to Youth Justice for charges and released to their parents
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse police released new information regarding a “concerning Snapchat message” directed toward students and teachers at Logan High School in late November.
According to a heavily redacted report from the La Crosse Police Department, two students used a fake Snapchat account to send the threat.
Their message referenced killing eight students and two teachers after Thanksgiving due to being bullied.
The report says at the time the Snapchat was shared, surveillance video shows the students in the cafeteria on their phones and laughing.
Both students were referred to Youth Justice for terroristic threat charges and released to their parents.
