Storms Possible This Evening. More Storm Chances Sunday.
Saturday’s High: 75°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 60°F
We’ve seen a mix of sun, clouds and thunderstorms today. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening and early tonight before the rain tapers off. Mostly cloudy overnight with lows near 60. Patchy fog will be possible toward Sunday morning.
Sunday will be even warmer as high temperatures soar into the upper 70s and low 80s. The chance of showers and storms will continue. There will be a chance of rain late morning, and then again during the late afternoon and evening. Some storms that develop could become strong to severe with damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain being the main threats.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be the story for Memorial Day on Monday, but I don’t think it will be a washout. Once again, a few storms that develop may become strong. Highs will be warm in the low 80s.
Rain and a few t-storms likely Tuesday. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, but still warmer than average in the upper 70s.
Slight chance of storms Wednesday, and then the rest of the week looks mainly dry with above average temperatures.
Have a great night! –Michelle Poedel
