State Rep. VanderMeer of Tomah announces bid for fifth term

Republican has served the 70th Assembly District since 2014

TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — State Rep. Nancy VanderMeer of Tomah says she will run for a fifth term.

The Republican has served the 70th Assembly District since 2014.

VanderMeer said in a statement announcing the bid: “The tremendous, sustained support from local community members residing throughout the district and from a variety of backgrounds and professions is humbling.”

She chairs the Assembly Committee on Rural Development, a  position she’s held since the 2016 legislative session.
