Starting your indoor garden
Indoor gardens can be fun ways to spend time with family, and are very accessible for everyone
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) -Spring is just around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about your indoor gardens.
Gardening inside gives you the chance to grow something that may not work with Wisconsin’s climate outdoors.
While it may seem overwhelming, gardening can be easy and very relaxing.
For a simple start, all you need are seeds, windows or grow lights, a seed starter, and some small pots.
“If you don’t want to bend down so much, it might be good to consider a raised bed, and they come in all kinds of depths, which is nice. For one foot, even little, little little little toddlers can play in these which is nice,” said Karen Stoltz, who serves as the Ecospirituality Project Outreach Coordinator for the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
