LA CROSSE, WI - For Division III football, the Gagliardi Trophy is the equivalent to the Heisman, awarded to the most outstanding player in the country. UW-La Crosse senior wide receiver Nick Holcomb is one step closer to earning that honor.
Holcomb was named one of 4 finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy. The Germantown native caught a single season school and conference record 20 touchdowns in 2017. Holcomb also set single season school records for receptions (80) and receiving yards (1,401).
The winner will be announced on December 13th in Salem, Virginia.
