Huge football game with a trip to the playoffs on the line. And the outcome rides on you making one final play as time runs out.
It's a scenario many kids dream about in their backyard growing up. Maybe unless you come from the country of Denmark.
Sigurd Lilmose is spending his junior year at Hillsboro High School as a foreign exchange student. Soccer is king in his home country of Denmark.
But here in Wisconsin Lilmose is left kicking footballs. And he's done a pretty good job of that whether it's booming kickoffs or being a perfect five-for-five on field goals. The latest successful attempt was a 23-yard field goal this past Friday night as time expired which sent Hillsboro to the playoffs.
"I knew the school did not have soccer when I looked it up so I knew I was going to play football. And I told my host brother that I was going to play football and he talked to the coach about it. I didn't even know they had a kicker in football before I got here."
