It has been a whirlwind year for Aquinas graduate Bronson Koenig. Once the grind of the college basketball season ended it was onto the pre-draft process and then straight into NBA Summer League play.
Now with a little break in the schedule Koenig has returned home as La Crosse is one of three cities in Wisconsin he's hosting a shooting academy.
"It means a lot to me especially being from La Crosse and having my second camp here, my first camp doing it in La Crosse is definitely a great experience for me."
It's the first time back home after signing a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks after going undrafted.
"It's been a roller coaster. A lot of adversity but I'm learning a lot. Just like these kids I'm trying to be a sponge and absorb all of the information that I possibly can.
"I got a really great opportunity playing for the Bucks and I'm really thankful they gave me the chance to play Summer League with them and obviously the two-way contract and everything like that. It's a great opportunity and I just want to take full advantage of it."
