GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay will play host to the 2025 NFL Draft, the National Football League announced Monday afternoon.
Details are still being worked out, but events are expected to take place at Lambeau Field, the Titletown campus and nearby venues, according to a news release. The NFL Draft Experience festival itself will be held near Lambeau Field.
“This is an incredible day for the Packers, Greater Green Bay and the entire state of Wisconsin as we are excited and honored to be selected to host the 2025 NFL Draft,” Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy said in the release. “The Packers have a rich and proud history that goes back to the early days of the NFL and are the only community owned team. That connection to our League’s heritage combined with the great passion Packers fans will bring will make the Draft a memorable event for those in attendance and NFL fans watching around the world."
This year's draft, held in Kansas City, drew more than 312,000 people -- nearly three times Green Bay's population -- to the region and another 54 million viewers from around the world.
The 2024 NFL Draft, meanwhile, will be held in Detroit.
The event was previously held annually in New York until moving to Chicago in 2015 and 2016. Since then, it has rotated among various cities across the country.
