G-E-T returns to familiar place in postseason

Familiar spot - G-E-T advance to sectionals for 3rd straight season

GALESVILLE, WI - The boys basketball postseason resumes on Wednesday.

For the 3rd straight season, G-E-T advances to the sectional round of the playoffs.  The Red Hawks are coming off a big 23 point win over Coulee Conference rival Black River Falls in the regional final on Saturday.

It was in this sectional semifinal round last season where G-E-T's season came to an end.  This current groups hopes for a different outcome and move one step closer to Madison.

"We've been saying since playoffs have started every game is going to be a state championship game. Every game could be our last.  We have a lot of seniors who we lose we are done.   We are just really playing for that," Chris Thompson said.

"To us Stratford was a really good team.  Black River also a really good team.  I feel like that is going to help us and boost our confidence even more going further into the playoffs," Tyler Scherr said.
