LA CROSSE, WI - The Coulee Region Chill has been one of the better teams in the NAHL as of late, making the playoffs the last 3 season. The Chill is now trying to assemble a roster to make a postseason run for the 4 straight year.
The team is in the middle of their week long try out camp over at Green Island Ice Arena. Players from all over the globe are hitting the ice to showcase their talents.
In all 30 members will make up the final roster when the 2017-18 season gets underway in September.
"It's always impressive with things like this. What's tough is finding the right kids with the right fit for not only our organization but for the community as well," head coach Ryan Egan said.
"I've seen a lot of players adapt really really well to it and a lot of players adapt not so well with it. It just all depends on the person," West Salem native Bailey Martin said.
"The pace is definitely faster than I am used to and it's good to play with new guys and meet new guys from around the country," Hastings, Minnesota native Brandon Koch said.
