MADISON, Wis. -- The first Big Ten game of the Luke Fickell era will be played under Friday night lights, the Wisconsin football program announced Wednesday morning.

The Badgers' Big Ten opener -- on the road against reigning Big Ten West champions Purdue -- has been moved from Saturday, Sept., 23 to Friday, Sept. 22.
