Sparta offers Youth Scavenger Hunt

SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) – The Sparta Kiwanis Club and the Monroe County Local History Room are sponsoring a City-Wide Scavenger Hunt for students.

The event will run from August 1 through the 15 and every Sparta area student is invited to participate.

Students may pick up Sparta Youth Scavenger Hunt forms at Mueller Square in downtown Sparta on August 1 between 9 a.m. and Noon or anytime from the Little Free Library stand in front of the Square. Students also may send an email here to receive a form.

Completed forms should be dropped off into the Sparta Free Library book return slot by 11:59 p.m. on August 15, 2020.

Multiple prizes will be awarded.

According to a news release, all Scavenger Hunt sites are within walking or biking distance of downtown Sparta.

Sponsors of the event include Arenz Shoes, Speed’s Bike Shop, Hansen’s IGA, Ginny’s Cupboard, Cenex Convenience Store, Subway Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Fast Eddie’s Bait Shack, Dairy Queen, Rudy’s Drive-In, and Culver’s.
