Sparta handily beats Mauston in rare Monday game
SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT)–Sparta football attacked early and often, resulting in a dominant showing Monday that ended with a 39-14 win over Mauston.
Running back Nick Kent found the end zone twice in the first half, as the Spartans dominated the first two quarters, with a 20-6 lead.
The second half started with more of the same, as sophomore Thomas Laufenberg connected with Carson Kelsey for a 52-yard touchdown on the opening drive.
