South side La Crosse shooting victim in stable condition

Man is still being treated at area hospital

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The victim in a May 7th shooting in La Crosse is classified as being in stable condition.

That’s according to the La Crosse Police Department who say the man is still being treated at a local hospital.

Police were called to 1022 5th Avenue South just after midnight on Thursday for a report of a man lying in the backyard bleeding.

When officers got there, they found a man with an apparent gun shot wound.

The investigation is on-going.
