South Lane Pizza reopens with new owner and new location
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- South Lanes Pizza is back in La Crosse with a new location and new ownership.
The restaurant’s grand opening took place Sunday.
It is now located in the Village Shopping Center on Losey Boulevard.
South Lanes Pizza will offer dine-in and delivery options, and also have a full bar.
The new owner says don’t be fooled by the new location because everything is the same as it was before.
“Same exact recipe, same equipment, we have a lot of the same cooks as South Lanes Bowling and Pizza, they’ve all come over here and it’s basically the same exact pizza but a new location here at the Village Shopping Center,” said South Lanes Pizza owner, Matt Thornton.
Thornton says he grew up with South Lanes Pizza 40 years ago and he wanted to make sure the tradition stayed in La Crosse.
The original South Lanes Bowling and Pizza closed in June of last year.
