Some Sunshine Thursday

RIVER FLOOD WARNING remains in effect until further notice for the Mississippi River at Wabasha and the PdC/McGregor area. Minor flooding is occurring.

High pressure will slip into the area tonight. This should help clear our some of those pesky clouds late. Look for a seasonably chilly night as lows drop into the middle and upper 30s.

Our high will bring a partly to mostly sunny sky and slightly warmer temperatures Thursday. Look for highs in the mid-upper 50s.

Looking Ahead… It turns even warmer Friday thanks to stronger southerly winds and lots of sunshine. Expect highs Friday well into the 60s. It will be a breezy day with south winds gusting to 25 mph.

A cool front will bring a small chance of rain showers late Friday night into Saturday, especially during the morning hours. Otherwise, it will be mild this weekend with highs both days in the mid 60s. Most of Sunday should be dry. A stronger system will bring a good chance of showers and isolated thunder Sunday night into Monday. It will also be windy and colder Monday as highs slip into the mid-upper 50s.

Tuesday looks breezy and cooler with lingering showers possible early. Highs Tuesday will be in the low 50s. Isolated showers possible Wednesday into Thursday with highs in the low 50s. With morning lows in the 30s Wednesday, there could be a few flakes of snow mixing in with the rain.
