Some local businesses cutting hours because of staff shortages
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Some businesses in our area are having to cut their hours because of a lack of staff.
B.A. Burrito and Sloopy’s Alma Mater both posted changes on their Facebook pages.
B.A. Burrito’s post says, in part, “As you may or may not be aware of, many small businesses are struggling with staffing issues… we are no different. We are doing everything we can to maintain our normal business hours, but sometimes we just simply don’t have enough bodies to maintain our customer service standards, so we have no choice but to cut our hours once in awhile.”
B.A. Burrito closed at 3 p.m. Monday.
Sloopy’s will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until it can hire enough staff.
