Snow Likely Tonight. Several More Snow Chances This Week.
Sunday’s High: 27°F, Tonight’s Low: 21°F
It was a cold start to this Sunday with a little sunshine, but clouds quickly took over. The clouds have moved in ahead of a storm system that is already bringing some light snow to parts of southeastern Minnesota and the Chippewa Valley.
The snow will continue to fill in this evening and tonight from the southwest. Overnight snowfall totals will generally range from 1″-3″ by Monday morning. Lows tonight will be in the upper teens to low 20s.
Monday will be very similar to today, only warmer. Expect maybe a peek or two of sun in the morning, followed by thickening clouds. Highs will be in the mid 30s. Another surge of moisture will bring the chance of rain/snow Monday night.
The chance of rain/snow showers will continue Tuesday with highs in the mid 30s.
Colder air builds into the Upper Midwest beginning on Wednesday. A few snow showers are possible with a passing wave of energy.
Thursday looks to be quiet, but cold. Highs will be in the upper teens to 20 degrees.
We’re watching for the potential of a more potent storm moving in on Friday. As of right now, forecast models have this system bringing in several inches of snow. However, this system is a ways off, so a lot could change. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week!
