Snow Ending, Colder Tonight
Tuesday’s High: 26°F, Tonight’s Forecast Low: 9°F
The clipper system that brought the light, fluffy snow to the area today continues to exit to the southeast. Snowfall totals have ranged from 0.5″ to 2″, but breezy northwest winds are causing some blowing and drifting.
Skies will clear tonight and temperatures will be much colder in the single digits.
Even though it will be a chilly start to the day Wednesday, winds shift and pick up out of the south, helping to warm temperatures into the low to mid 30s for highs. We will see a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow, but I can’t completely rule out a late day flurry or two.
Thursday will be similar to Wednesday. However, a cold front will bring a slight chance of snow showers late in the day Thursday. Behind that cold front, highs will only be in the teens to 20 degrees for Friday and Saturday.
A storm system will bring the chance of snow Saturday night and Sunday. We will continue to keep a close eye on this system in terms of track and timing as we get closer to the weekend.
Have a great night! –Michelle Poedel
